Now that it looks like there may be more than four people who actually read my LJ, I wanted to clarify something about my Friends list. (BTW, I hate that name. It implies that anybody who isn't on the list isn't a "friend," which is just daft.) Some of you have added me to your Friends list, and I haven't reciprocated. This should in no way be construed to mean that I consider you less worthy or less of a RL friend than the people who are on that list! I very rarely even make Friends-only posts, so it's not like you're missing out on some secret trove of brilliant Weaselmusings. Easily 99% of my posts are public. I might make a F-o post if I wanted to get some advice or rant about a relationship issue, for example, because most of you know my partner. It could make him feel awkward or uncomfortable if he thought his male friends were reading this stuff. (He already knows that I would discuss it in person with K or J or PMB, so that's different.) I might use it to go into detail about some horrifying feminine health issue (notice that my Friends list is all female). Most of you fellas would rather avoid it, and one of you might end up being irreparably scarred.
I just don't want anybody feeling bad out there.
Okay? Rock on!
