Not such a bad day.
Sep. 10th, 2002 10:33 pmAt Half Price Books I found several new books that demanded to come home with me: three more of the Mutts comics collections and some Wodehouse, specifically Psmith in the City (thus rounding out my Psmith set), Young Men in Spats (being a collection of stories about the Drones Club members), and The World of Jeeves. Cheap books are always good, but when they're cheap and new--well!
S and I went down to the marina to watch the sunset. We rarely do stuff like this anymore, and I'm always pleasantly surprised that he's willing to invest precious time in this activity that could otherwise be spent gaming or watching anime.
Somebody knocked over and shattered the blindingly bright light right in front of our apartment, so we'll have a cozily darker night of sleep. And it wasn't me!
Sometimes it doesn't take very much to make me happy.
